Feb 16, 2018 · BGW210 was first modem installed, constantly had issues with WiFi dropped, Tech came out, swapped it out with a 5268 (only after failing with another 5268 prior). Things seemed okay, WiFi is hit or miss, seems like the BGW210 had much better WiFi, but perhaps I'm wrong. A few evenings ago, the connection was so slow, we couldn't do anything. I have a GT784WN using firm ware ver NCS01-1.0.14. My router keeps droping wirless connections or it will not let any new connections. I must unplug and reset the router almost everyday. Nov 29, 2018 · I am having the same problem. My computer crashed, my IT reinstalled windows and other software, then I couldn't connect to my NETGEAR wifi at home. Signal is excellent, another laptop at home works fine. But, I still can use my laptop connect to wifi at the office . I am running XP Pro version 20002 SP3. My laptop used to work with my home wifi. May 04, 2012 · The static IP didn't make a difference. Still keeps disconnecting/dropping after some time. Meanwhile, the connection with the main router stays connected. Don't know what else I can do. Seems that my HP Touchpad running CM9 stays connected to the second router without dropping. Don't know what's different about that from my phone.
